Boredom this past week or so has taken on the shape of me in front of the TV waayyy too much. One major complaint I have is that whenever I have the time to just veg out and watch some TV there's nothing I want to watch on. It's all reruns of parental control and the likes. So a few days ago I caught myself watching a Lifetime Original. It was a movie about a 40 year old divorcee who goes on vacation in Hawaii and falls in love with a 20 something surf instructor. They're forced apart but eventually end up together. Blah blah...probably the most boring thing I've ever watched in my entire life. So here I am again, bored watching Selena which because of the whole 'true story' aspect isn't quite that bad. My favorite part is when she's at the mall shopping for a dress and the woman working there has a real 'pretty woman' moment and assumes she can't afford the $800 dress. The best thing about it is some of the spanish help recognizes her and all the spanish workers in the mall leave work and rush to that store to see her. Ninety percent of the Americans don't know what the hell is going on. Movies over and now Monster in Law's on so I'm assuming this is like a JLo movie marathon. Ever since the first time I saw this I've wanted to live like she does in the movie. If you haven't seen it main character, played by JLo, is named Charlie (which I've considered as a name when I have a daughter...being a girl named Frankie has me slightly turned onto the whole girl with a boys name thing) and basically instead of having a steady (boring) full time job she works a bunch of part time/temp jobs. It's great, she's a dog walker, waitress, works at a hospital, she's an artist, coaches a little league team, sometimes she's even a yoga instructer. Considering I get bored after about 6 months at a place her life would be perfect. I mean everyday is different for her how can u get bored with that??? Well, funny that's her quote kind of...'Life's too short to live the same day twice'...love it!
