Today, we had a new IT director start. It's been a long time coming as we've needed someone to replace our dear Bob Mac who passed a while ago. While many people are excited about the new addition to our group, I myself am unsure. Why you ask? Because I don't know how smart this guy is. Now I don't mean that in a he looks like he's stupid & can't do his job kind of way but, more like he's gonna come in and rain on my parade. You see at our office the IT department has the ability to monitor what everyone does on their computers down to the very tiniest detail. For example if he's what I somewhat fear he is, he will be able to see that I wrote this wonderful little post dedicated completly to him, because yes I'm writing this while I'm at work. Not too smart you say, why am I doing it at work if I'm scared he can see you ask...because I'm bored out of my mind! Being at the end of the Holiday season a number of our stores are closed and apparently buying tile isn't at the top of everyones list. I only have a limited amount of work that I'm 100% positive what my boss wants done with it & since she's on vaca I don't plan on messing something up just so I can fix it when she comes back. Now prior to this new addition our 'sit in' IT director wasn't really, from my knowledge, aware of the wonderful technology that allows them to know exactly what time we clicked go to yahoo.com, but this new guy, this new guy may be on top of things.
So, this is somewhat of a PSA letting everyone know I will no longer be Myspace or Facebooking it while I'm at work. The personal E-mails will be kept to a minimum & IMing is off limits (look at me sounding all popular & what not). But my friend texting is still A-OK...I repeat text me whenever u please! :)
And as for you Mr. New IT Director, there may come a day when I crack, yes the boredom may take over & myspace may pop up on my little activity page. And when this day comes I would like you to refer back to your first day with us & the first thing you saw walking into the building...
Yes Kevin sir...I'm what's known as the 'keeper of the letters'. I put together this beautiful little welcome board for you. So when you're looking at my online history, just take it easy on me. Because you know...I always could have just forgot to welcome you & other than Sarah giving me the paper with your name on it, I don't believe anyone else had anything to do with this beautiful display!
hahaha that is SOOOOO FUNNY! :)
