6 Cakes later...

So January 26th was my birthday and even though I didn't do anything huge it was GREAT! Sunday night we had a family party for me & Jeyda. She wanted Cheesecake so my grandmother whipped up a wonderful homemade one. My mom also brought us each a coldstone cake because coldstone is my favorite. She went out of her way to find out which kind to get me by calling my best . She got me Oreo and Jeyda Strawberry. After the party I brought some of each over to Margaux's to watch movies.
Monday, my actual birthday, we had party at work for everyone who had a birthday in January. We had an ice cream cake and homemade double chocolate cake. I also recieved a delivery from the ex that consisted of the best coldstone cake EVER...it's called cake batter confetti DEE-lish! He also got me a Boston Bruins jersey so now I need to go to a game so I can wear it. I'm pretty sure he got it hoping I'd go to a game with him...but sorry, not gonna happen. Love the present though :) lol. Anyways that night I hung out with a newly good friend. We tried to go see Underworld but for some reason when we got to the theatre the doors were locked...not cool! So we just watched movies & played video games at their place.
Tuesday, my friend who owns a restaurant thought it was my birthday and basically made me a feast. The food was amazing. I'd tell you what I had but it's all in another language and I'll probably massacre it so I'm just going to save myself the embarassment. I will say we had pickled Tomatos which was interesting, but still good.
Friday my friend Heather took me out for sushi and chinese food. I tried sushi for the first time and LOVED it! It's definately a favorite now which was surprising considering texture is a huge thing for me and well I just didn't think the whole 'raw' bit was going to go over well for me. But no, total opposite, and now I'm going for VDay with my cousin Kirstyn. She's the best...she snuck into my side of the bathroom while I wasn't there on my Bday and left me 'happy birthdays' on my mirrors.
So sweet :)
