Just when you thought the story was over. When you thought it was simply filled in with a 'then I woke up, told my uncle, and got my car fixed.' you were wrong. You were very wrong. Because let me tell you...nothing is ever that simple for Frankie. No, her stories never end where expected because she is a trouble magnet.
The morning after my accident, after telling my family, after going to work, my uncle went and tried to get my car. Turns out it wasn't driveable...something to do with the tire. Anyways they wouldn't let him get it towed to where it was getting fixed because I needed some form from the police. I called the cops to see what I needed to do and found out I had recieved a citation. Now let's get this straight, the night before the cop hadn't asked me for my ID, just my name, and every other time I have gotten into an accident if I'm getting a ticket, I get it right then and there. My uncle had however, given me a lecture that morning on how you're not supposed to tell the cops you fell asleep because you'll get charged with driving to endanger, that I should have said a deer jumped out in front of me. Whatever, it was late, I was tired, I didn't know. Anyways out of curiousity I asked what I was cited for and when the cop said driving on a suspended license I was stunned. It wasn't anything like I had been expecting. I actually asked him if he was sure he was looking at the right accident. He was. Called the RMV to find out why, come to find out a speeding ticket that my ex told me he paid back in August either didn't go through or he didn't pay it. GREAT! Cost me $420 to get my license back. Actually since I'm poor from paying for school it cost my Aunt $420, who then was given funds from my Grandmother, who I now owe the money to.
I am blessed....to have a few people in my life who can afford to help me when I find myself in these messes. I'm even more blessed that they just step to the plate and don't make me bow down and ask for help. They know how hard it is for me. I'm very independent and want to do everything myself. They also know that I probably won't ask and will just work, and miss school so I can work, and never sleep till I can pay it myself.
